Release Highlights | 22nd of July 2026 | Version 2026.6
This release introduces changes to the Checklist PDF report and a minor amendment to a system compliance rule within the Building Safety Act compliance grid.
Checklist Report Improvements
Based on feedback from our clients, we have made improvements to the layout and usability of custom Checklist reports. These enhancements provide clearer context, improve navigation between related information, and make reports easier to read and understand.
Improved Asset Image handling
Where an asset image is unavailable, reports now display a simple, clearly labelled placeholder message instead of a large missing image icon. This keeps the report cover page clean, professional, and free from ambiguity.
Improved Report Layout
The report structure has been reorganised to create a more natural reading flow.
The report now presents:
- Checklist Findings
- Follow-Up Tasks
- Appendices
By presenting the findings before the associated actions, the report is easier to follow and provides better context for each follow-up task.
Improved Follow-Up Tasks Context
The Checklist Tab heading is now included within each Follow-Up Task.
This provides additional context, particularly where the same task-generating question appears on multiple tabs within a single Checklist template.
We've also improved the information shown for every task:
- The original task description is now always displayed for both new and linked tasks.
- Existing task comments continue to be included.
- Together, this provides a clearer understanding of the work that needs to be completed.
Direct Task ID Referencing
To make reports easier to navigate, Task IDs are now referenced directly within the Checklist Findings section.
For each question that generates a task, the report now displays the corresponding:
- New Task ID(s)
- Linked Task ID(s)
This provides a simple way to trace tasks between the Checklist Findings and Follow-Up Tasks sections.
PEEP Details compliance rule
This release also includes a minor update to compliance rule terminology, with the PEEP Details rule and document sub-category renamed to Residential PEEP Details to better reflect the associated records.
