New six-year frequency
A new 6-year frequency is now available when configuring Assessments and Compliance Rules.
This provides an additional scheduling option for requirements that need to be reviewed or completed on a six-year cycle.
Fire Door Audit Updates
We are improving how Fire Door Audit information is handled within the system, including information received from Ark Fire Door Audit services.
Three new assessment types are being introduced:
- Fire Door Audit (Communal)
- Fire Door Audit (Residential)
- Fire Door Audit (Combined Residential and Communal)
These provide a consistent way to identify different types of fire door audit information and allow the system to match audit results to the appropriate compliance rules and, where applicable, update RAG grids automatically.
We are also introducing corresponding Fire Door Audit compliance rules and updating the existing Fire Door Audit rule to specifically represent communal fire door audits.
For clients who already have their own Fire Door Audit rules, the existing Migrate functionality can be used to merge these with the new standard rules where appropriate. Clients can also retain their existing rules, but if they receive Fire Door Audit information from Ark, the Document Matching – Matched to Assessment Type setting will need to be configured to use the relevant new assessment type.
As part of this change, the Building Safety Act – In Use Management Safety Case RAG grid will be updated to include the new Fire Door Audit (Residential) rule. This allows residential and communal fire door audit information to be handled separately where required, while also supporting combined audits where this is more appropriate for the building or client.
These changes are intended to make Fire Door Audit information easier to identify, match, and incorporate into compliance reporting, while providing greater flexibility for different approaches to fire door auditing.
