The steps below allow Super Users to unlock and lock user accounts on your QUOODA® System.
As a Super User, you will ensure only the correct users have access to your QUOODA® system. You will be able to both unlock and lock accounts. If a user has left the business, for example, you will need to lock their account to prevent them from having access in future.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Users
Step 2. Find the user account that you wish to lock
You can search if you know the user that you are looking to lock or use any of the filters on the table columns.
Step 3. Lock the account
Move your cursor to the ‘Lock Account’ column and click the empty box to lock the account. Click “Yes, Lock User Account” when pop-up message appears to complete the process. The user and account in question will no longer be able to access QUOODA®.
For security reasons, the QUOODA® Support Team cannot reset passwords, unlock accounts or carry out any actions with system access. All user access issues must be handled by the organisation's Super Users. They have access to resolve issues and also know who should have access.
TOP TIPS
- To unlock users, simply click the lock account button and remove the tick. That account will then become accessible. All previous permissions and access will be retained.
- If a user is still unable to log in after being unlocked, we suggest resetting their password.
- QUOODA® will automatically lock accounts if the user has not accessed the system for an extended period. This is set to 60 days by default and is in place for security reasons.
- QUOODA® will also lock accounts if the user has inputted the incorrect password 3 times in a row when attempting to log in.
- You will not need to remove other permissions from locked users as they will no longer be able to access the system.
