When you create an account you will be asked to create a security question and answer which you can use to reset your password should you forget it.
We cover how to set up your security question on the new user account set up page. If you forget your question or answer, we would recommend you amend it but you will need access to the account to do that. See the security question help page for more information.
If you cannot use this process to reset your own password please contact a Super User within your organisation. For security reasons, QUOODA® Support will not be able to send you a reset link.
Step 1. Select the ‘forgot password’ link on the login screen
Step 2. Enter your account email address or username
- Click in the box and enter your account email address or username
- To submit either click the enter arrow on-screen on use enter on your keyboard
Step 3. Answer the security question
Your security question will show on screen
- Click in the box and enter your security answer
- To submit either click the enter arrow on-screen on use enter on your keyboard
Once you have answered correctly, you will be sent a password reset email
If you got the answer incorrect you will see an error ’User security details invalid. Please try again’. Please try again. If multiple attempts are unsuccessful a Super User within your organisation will be able to send you a reset link.
Step 4. Use the reset link
The email address linked to the account will receive an email within a few minutes. This will contain a link, click this link to open a password reset page.
NOTE: This link is only valid for 72 hours. If you do not use it within that time frame you will need to start this process again from Step 1.
Step 5. Enter a new password
- Click in the first box and enter your new password
- Click in the second box and re-enter the password
- To submit either click the enter arrow on-screen on use enter on your keyboard
If your passwords match and meet the criteria, you will see a ‘password reset successfully’ confirmation and be directed to log in.
If you have not met the minimum security criteria you will see the following error - Passwords must contain a minimum of 8 characters and include at least 1 each of the following: Lowercase letter, uppercase letter and number. Please amend your chosen password to meet this.
If you have entered different passwords in each box you will see a Passwords do not match error, please retype your passwords to ensure they are the same.
