The risks module contains the total number of risks taken from assessments of assets that a user has access to. This is broken down into All Risks and Uncontrolled Risks.
This page will explain how to navigate this module to find both uncontrolled and controlled risks. This will also show users how to export this data. We cover details on how to control risks on the controlling a risk page.
Step 1. Go to the Risks Module. Choose between All Risks / Uncontrolled Risks
All Risks screen
Search for risks associated with your asset of choice
This page will display all risks (both controlled and uncontrolled) that have been associated with assets that you have access to on QUOODA®. There are a number of quick filters available at the top for Managing Agent, Portfolio and Sub Portfolio. You can also search and filter in the usual ways as explained on our search and filter data tables help page.
TOP TIP: You can export a PDF of the risk as a ‘Risk Snapshot’. To do this, click the ‘three dots’ in the Risk ID column and click Preview or Download. If you do not see this column, please review the adding and removing columns section of this support article.
View risk record
Users can now view more details of the selected risk by clicking on the “Open Record” button. From here you can navigate through the multiple tabs within the edit risk section.
- Details – An in-depth description of the risk, including hazard, topic, location, control measure and the status of the risk. If you are in a position to control the risk, you can follow the process on our controlling a risk help page.
- Actions – Displays all actions taken or required by the relevant user. All un-controlled risks must have a completed action against it to enable the risk to be controlled on the system.
- Costs
- Documents – Displays any documentation uploaded/to be uploaded against the particular risk.
- Images - Displays any images uploaded/to be uploaded against the particular risk
- Notes & Observations – Provides a more detailed description of the risk, as noted by the assessor at the time of the assessment.
- Risk Ratings – Shows the risk level of the selected risk. Depending on agreed terminology, statuses will be one of: Tolerable/Moderate/Substantial/Intolerable OR Tolerable/Low/Medium/High.
- Edit Risk Categorisation Tab – Allocates the risk to a specific season or building type.
- Associations – Displays the assessment entity that this risk relates to.
Risk Ratings and Due Completion Dates
The due date of risks are calculated by the risk rating assigned from the completed assessment.
The risk ratings and timeframes on the system for completion are as below:
- Intolerable/High = 1 week
- Substantial/Medium = 1 month
- Moderate/Low = 3 months
N.B – The risk timeframe is taken from the date the assessment is added to QUOODA®, not the date on the assessment document.
PLEASE NOTE: The risk completion frequencies have been approved by ARK Workplace Risk in line with current Health & Safety guidance and therefore cannot be amended.
Uncontrolled Risks screen
Search for risks associated with your asset of choice
This section will display all the uncontrolled risks for properties that individual users have access to within QUOODA®. This information can be made visible in the grid display within both the un-controlled and All-Risks modules when Risk Ratings and Due Completion Dates have been selected in your grid view.
The process to add columns to your grid view is explained in our search and filter data tables help page. You can search and filter this table in the same way as explained above for All Risks.
View risk details
The view details about the selected risk, click on the double box icon within the “Risk” column. This will bring up a pop-up window, containing tabs and information that the user will be able to navigate through. If the user requires more detailed information regarding the risk in question, simply click on the double box icon beside “View full risk”. This will open a new tab in the user’s web browser and will direct to the Risk record section (step 3 in this help page). You can also export the risk snapshot as displayed above.
Controlling a risk
