If your checklist fails to upload, it is simple to retry the upload.
Step 1. Identify a failed upload
When an upload fails, the message ‘could not upload checklist, please retry’ will be displayed on the progress window. If any progress was made, the upload progress bar will display how far the upload has progressed, but it will be red to indicate there was a problem. The number next to the upload tab will also change to red. The checklist will stay in the ‘Queued for upload’ status and will display ‘Further upload required’.
Step 2. Why did the upload fail?
An upload can fail for a number of reasons. The most common cause will be a loss of connection, so please ensure you have a reliable network or WIFI signal.
We provide detailed instructions about other potential causes and some basic checks you can perform on our Key information help page. Please review these if you get repeat failures and you are uploading from a strong and stable connection.
Step 3. Retry the Upload
You can retry the upload as many times as required. To do this, tap the dark blue ‘Upload Now’ button within the ‘queued for upload’ banner.
You will see a confirmation message. Please read this message and either:
- Tap ‘OK’ if you wish to confirm and continue
- Tap ‘Cancel’ to abandon the upload
If you select ‘OK’, a progress window will show and inform you what is happening. This will remain in place while the upload is processed
Step 4. Upload successful?
When the progress window closes and the upload attempt is complete, the checklist will move to the appropriate category.
- If the upload was successful, the checklist will be available in QUOODA®. For more details on how to access this please see the checklists section of the Using QUOODA® area of the help site.
- If the upload failed please retry the steps on this page. In the unlikely event that an upload fails continuously, please see the Key information help page for more information.
