Release Highlights | 20th of October 2025 | Version 2025.7
This update introduces 2 key enhancements related to Frequency changes within QUOODA.
Update to the Building Assessment Certificate rule frequency from Annually to Five-Yearly
Previously, the Building Assessment Cerificate compliace rule had an annual frequency. This frequency has now been changed to be five-yearly. Within the Compliance grid you will see this reflected under the AD8-05 BSA rule.
Due to this change, current BSA AD8-05 rules have been given an updated valid to date and will now be five years from the valid from date to reflect the new frequency change.
Frequency Changes
When a user changes the frequency of a compliance record, a confirmation message is now shown to explain how the “Valid To” date will be updated. In most cases, this date is recalculated automatically. However, depending on the scenario, the outcome may differ:
- Changing to a Fixed Frequency – the Valid To date is recalculated.
- Changing to a Custom Frequency – the Valid To dates for all related compliance records with uploaded documents remain as they are.
- Changing to an Adhoc Frequency – the Valid To date is removed.
- Changing from Adhoc to Custom Frequency – this change is not permitted. If you need to set a specific end date, first select a standard frequency to define your desired “to” date. Once this is set, you can then switch to Custom Frequency to make further adjustments as needed.
These changes make it easier to manage compliance records with confidence, while maintaining accurate histories and timelines.
We hope that you find these enhancements useful. For additional information on any of the updates or assistance in using them, please contact QUOODA® Support.
